Tagging Rules

The tagging system is pretty simple. You just put in the full name of your character in the entry tag form. But there's a catch! Only the mods can add new tags because we're anal-retentive STFU so you'll just have to add them. If your character is new and you don't have a tag yet, don't worry. We'll get it up by the end of the week.

Though we must ask for your help here. Your mods can't go around exactly, tagging everything that hasn't been tagged yet. So if you see yours already up (which you can check via the tags link), please put the appropriate tags in your entries. That way, we can have a more efficient system.

The same applies for the logs community though we would ask you to please add the *complete tag once you've finished your log.

^{►A breakdown of the plot.}

You wake up.

Your head is pounding and everything suddenly seems to be unfamiliar, even when you've spent all of your life inhabiting these four walls. You've been staring at these walls at every single waking moment, they should be familiar, after all, it's your home, and this is the place where you are most--

Wait.

Something goes through your mind, but it is gone just as fast as it arrives, so you shrug it off and go to look for some aspirin.

Welcome to Codice City. This is your home, your life. It does not matter if you are simply lab-rats to the Siyentista, you are happy and blissfully unaware and that's all you care about.

Those distant memories and thoughts that occasionally run through your mind are not important, they are merely remnants of a life you will never recover, for this is not your life any more. It is ours, and we'd prefer that it stayed that way until the end of our experiment.

So don't worry; sit back, relax, talk to your friends, we will take care of everything. ♥

L O C A T I O N S
^{►Location info and descriptions.}

✩Maior
Located in the center of Codice, Maior also serves as the bridge between the three sectors. It is populated by skyscrapers in the Business District, colorful tents in the Shopping District, the General Hospital, the University and a few other noticeable infrastructure. It is rumored that the Induco is able to be contacted through the phone lines put up inside the major corporations in this area.

✩Etalon
Characterized by the faded brick walls and its eye-catching graffiti, Etalon is the sector for those who do not have enough income to be situated in Gravis. Its citizens are composed of shady looking individuals (though it does not necessarily mean they are involved in equally shady activities) and all structures are either shabby or completely beyond repair. The most notable building here is the Etalon Apartment Complex.

✩Gravis
Mediocre. Not unfortunate enough to belong to Etalon nor wealthy enough to be in Alioquin. Those who live in this sector are the ordinary suburban families who earn enough to stay alive with a few personal expenses added in between.

✩Alioquin
The rich and the glamorous, where your social status is what matters the most. This is where the upper echelons of society reside and it has only been speculation whether they are somewhat affiliated with the Induco. Characterized by tall buildings and the palatial structure which houses the famous and expensive condominiums.

✩Siyentista
^{They are the masterminds behind this whole scheme. They brought you here and erased your memories, and now they are watching over your every move. Not much is known about them except that, well, nothing is known about them. Your characters don't even know they exist, after all.}

✩Induco
^{He or She is never seen, never heard, never spoken of. They just are, and should never be questioned. Apparently, they rule over Codice with an iron fist, all those who have disobeyed them have met a fate worse than death, but this is just a rumor.}

<sup>Most of the time, your character will not be posting directly into their journal, instead, all 'journal' type entries will be posted into the main community.

We require that you tag your entry with your character's full name. Also, we ask that you include your character's first name, or nickname, into the subject line.

<sup>Logs are a little bit different, as they are done in third person, include more than one person, and have a different content. Just like the logs, we require that you tag your entry. However, you may put whatever you'd like in the subject line.

<sup>These have no requirements. They are merely text messages and emails your character has sent to another, and they go into your character's journal, not the main community. An example of a text message would be this:

...And as for email:

.001 ► This is a Pan-Fandom RP and should be treated as so. Characters from Movies, Video Games, Cartoons, Animes, Mangas, and ETC. are fine, Real Life celebrities are not.

.002 ► OOC =/= IC. Even if you find yourself in an awkward situation in which you are not certain how your character would react, try to keep it as close to their original personality. In other words, if your character is an innocent, happy go-lucky teen, then they certainly won't try to seduce X-Character into submission. Chances are that they'd rather ask nicely, eh?

.003 ► Stay active. At the end of every two months we will have an activity check. These will last two (2) weeks, and if your character fails to participate in it, they will be removed from the RP. To pass in the activity check, we require you to at least post one entry in the main community OR one log in the logs community.

.004 ► No OOC drama. If you have a grudge with one of the players, make sure that grudge stays out of the game. Just suck it up and make it work. You're not going to have both your characters start a war with each other just because you and that player do not get along well. Just don't interact with them if you can't handle your problems maturely. If the moderators think you and another player are having OOC drama and taking it into the RP, we will contact you and take proper action.

.005 ► No breaking the fourth wall. No, just no. We get it, it can be hilarious sometimes, but go somewhere else to do that.

.006 ► Take into account your own free time. Once again, stay active. Real life can get hectic sometimes and if you can barely keep up with one character, what makes you think that you can keep up with three? It is for this reason that moderators can deny you a second and third character based on your activity.

.007 ► God-Moding = NO. Each time someone God-Modes Hidan sacrifices a puppy, so for the sake of the puppies, do not God-Mode. Any player caught God-Moding will be contacted by a moderator and proper action will be taken.

.008 ► The current character limit is five. Currently, you may reserve and claim up to five (5) characters. After you claim your fifth you will not be able to claim a sixth. This may change later on.

.009 ► NC-17 logs must be Friend-Locked. As we wish to respect LJ's rules we ask of our members to please make all their NC-17 logs Friend-Locked. This includes logs with excessive gore and other disturbing scenes (yes, we do mean it).

.010 ► No discrimination, please and thank you. We allow het, yaoi, and yuri here. Unless it's canon for your character, anyone found making discriminating comments will be contacted by a moderator.

.011 ► No OCs. This is a Pan-Fandom RP, we do not need nor want any original characters here.

.012 ► Respect your mods and fellow roleplayers. We do not expect you to get along with everyone here, nor to follow everything we say like mindless zombies; but, please, stay calm and collected. This is an RP, we are here to have fun, not start a huge flame war.

.001 ► ...What's going on?
You are in an 'Alternate' Earth, the year is 2108 and the Earth is in the midst of an era of 'peace'. Your character has been taken from their reality and placed into this 'Alternate' Earth. For what? Well, that's our little secret. ♥

.002 ► Can my character die?
No. They can't.

.003 ► Is my character aware of the situation?
No, they are not. They are blissfully unaware of the fact that they're lab-rats, and are damn happy about it.

.004 ► You said our characters get some sort of device upon arriving, what is it?
QUANTUViS. It is a computer, mp3, agenda, cellphone, video game, etc., all in one. With this your character can write in their journals when they aren't near a computer, call other characters, and get important memos (read: Some Event Notices).

.005 ► Let's say my character knows another character in here from canon; would they remember them?
No, unless they are related by blood or you have talked about it with the mun and a moderator, besides the 'Deja Vu' and 'Do I know you?' feeling, they won't recognize each other. However, please do note that even if your character and the other mun's character aren't canon mates, if properly discussed with a mod, they may know each other here.

.006 ► Can my character share an apartment/house with another character?
Sure! Just make sure that you have the mun's approval and have talked about it with a mod so we can place your character appropriately on our list!

.007 ► So, my characters will be 100% stripped of their powers?
Yes, that is correct. They will not even remember they had powers in the first place, actually.

.008 ► Okay... What about posts?
All journal posts go into the main community, logs into the log community, and text messages and emails go to your character's journal.

.009 ► My character has a 'spirit' or 'alter-ego' inside on them, would that be considered the same character, or another one entirely?
They would be considered two separate characters.

.010 ► If the character I want to apply for has been mentioned, but never seen, can I still apply for them?
Yes, you may (because saying otherwise would make me a hypocrite). As long as said character does exist, I see no problem. (Example: Uchiha Shisui from Naruto.)

.011 ► What about marriages and pregnancy?
Your characters can get pregnant provided the muns involved have both provided consent. The same applies for marriages. During both events, it is important to contact a mod!

.012 ► IS IT RANDOM CHAOS TIME?!
Sure! But don't blame us when the authorities catch you~

.013 ► Did you forget my application? An application that was submited after mine has already been accepted!
This is done on purpose, since please do keep in mind that we are only two moderators at work and it might take a little while longer to research your fandom than others.

.015 ► The city is divided in four (4) areas, right? What are they?
These areas are Maior, Etalon, Gravis, and Alioquin. Maior is more of a business district (meaning that no one can take up permanent residence there), while Etalon, Gravis, and Alioquin are mostly residential areas.

.016 ► Can my character live in one area and work in another?
Sure! I don't see why your character can't, for example, live in the Etalon Apartment Complex and serve tables in Gravis!

.017 ► What's Codice's currency?
Bariters (the symbol for which is ʒ), they are small, golden coloured coins and Codice's current currency. On the front, they have have their worth engraved (the highest number being 500), while on the back they have images of various locations in Codice engraved.
(Note; ʒ1 = $0.50.)

.018 ► ...Are there even houses in Codice? I only see the Apartment Complexes.
^{Yes, there are houses every single sector except Maior. However, we do not list them on the location list.}

.019 ► I saw that some characters have 'Text Messages' and 'Voice Mail' posts, are these required?
^{No, they aren't required per say, but we highly suggest you make them.}

.020 ► If there's a company/business that's absolutely necessary for my character's canon, a replacement being impossible even if my character's Fake Memories are AU, is there any way I can request for it to be added into the Location post?
^{Of course! If this is absolutely necessary, and there is no way to get around it without completely changing your character's personality (which is more important than their 'memories'), you may request it here.}
